Get to know Cloud Computing with AWS

Amazon Web Services is a secure cloud platform, providing database storage, compute, analytics, networking, content delivery, mobiles, and other functionality to help businesses scale and grow. AWS is very popular because it is made of many different cloud computing products and services. The profitable Amazon division provides various IT and management tools for the corporate.

What are the Key Components of AWS?

AWS follows the model in which the companies can opt for cloud services rather than building their extensive infrastructure. They will get everything that infrastructure needs by adopting cloud services. The key components of AWS are

  •     Amazon Cluster:

Main computer service EC2 (Elastic cloud computer) and ELB (Elastic load balancing) are there in AWS. The usage decides the valuation of EC2 and ELB. The first AWS timers receive approximately 750 EC2 hours per month in the first year. Additionally, they have three pricing-models, such as on-demand, on-site samples, and a backup case. For smaller human interruptions and fault tolerance, AWS ELB distributes applications in all instances of EC2. For 15 GB of data processing and 750 hours of monthly service for one year, ELB is free of charge.

  •     Storage:

The simple storage service (S3) from Amazon, Elastic Block Storage (EBS), and CloudFront are three storage options. S3 is a storage offering that can store any amount of storage required. It is used for string content, backing up, archiving, recovering, and storing data. Along with the free offer of EC2 for the year, AWS also offers 5 GB of cloud storage, and 20,000 GET requests, 5000 S3 recommendations free for the first year. Cloud Front is a great storage option for developers and business organizations that facilitate low latency, high-speed data transfer.

  •     Networks:

Amazon VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) offers a versatile network performance. It provides integrated security and a private cloud. VPC comes free with EC2. AWS Direct Connect allows users to connect to a cloud that goes through the internet directly.

  •     Analytics:

Data analysis services such as Hadoop, orchestration, data transmission, and real-time storage is provided in all areas. Redshift also offers some analytical capabilities.

  •     Databases:

The relational ladder and the NoSQL database are also included in AWS petabyte caching and data storage. DynamoDB is a kind of NoSQL database that provides both large as well as economical storage. Amazon RDS is used to expand and manage MySQL, Oracle, SQLServer, or PostgreSQL in AWS.

  •     Mobile Services

Cognito ID users synchronize data on their mobile devices. There is a synchronization of 10 GB cloud storage. Ten synchronization operations per month. Mobile Analytics gives use of data for 60 minutes, which tracks the applications on the scale.

  •     Management and Security:

The AWS directory connects AWS clouds to the local stations. CloudWatch controls the cloud resources for AWS. The AWS CloudTrail API records require AWS user accounts. CloudTrail does it free of cost.

  •     Implementation and Management:

Elastic Beanstalk utilizes Java, .NET, PHP, Node.js, Python, and Ruby to implement and measure web applications. Monitoring of health and registration files is easy.

  •     Application Services:

Amazon SQS (simple queue service) is useful for the automation of the workflow between different services. A unique sequence is used to store messages, and The service is free up to 1 million messages per month and then chargeable. Ten thousand active tasks, 30000 working days, and 1000 executions executed one year are free for users.

Core Components of AWS:-

Core components of AWS involve the Cloud Computing Architecture, which refers to the components and subcomponents required for cloud computing. These typically consist of a front-end platform (fat client, thin client, mobile) and back-end platform (servers, storage), a cloud-based delivery, and a network (internet, intranet, intercloud).

Delivery: Software as a service (SaaS):

This service model involves the cloud provider installing and maintaining software in the cloud also users running the software from the cloud over internet. Software as a service provides the installed applications in the traditional delivery of applications.

  •  Single instanceMulti-instance
  •  Multi-tenant
  •  Flex tenancy

Development as a service (DaaS):

It is a web-based, community shared toolset. This usually is equal to local development tools installed in the traditional (non-cloud computing) delivery of development tools.

Data as a service (DaaS):

It is a web-based design-construct where cloud data is accessed through a defined API layer. DaaS services are often so-called as a specialized subset of software as a service (SaaS).

Platform as a service (PaaS)

Platform as a service is a cloud computing service that provides the users with application platforms and databases as a service. This is equivalent to middleware in the traditional delivery of both application platforms along with databases.

Infrastructure as a service (IaaS):

Infrastructure as a service takes the physical hardware and goes virtual overall (e.g., all servers, storage, networks, and system management all exist in the cloud). This is equivalent to both infrastructures as well as hardware in the traditional method running in the cloud.

Top 10 Benefits of Using AWS:-

  •     Convenient Mail and Mailing Lists:

Amazon offers a convenient email campaign service named SES (Simple Email Service)

  •     DNS Records Management:

The AWS S3 technology advantage is the possibility to implement the process without leaving the AWS console.

  •     Ready-made Virtual Users:

VPS (Virtual Private Server) and VDS (Virtual Dedicated Server) provides a user with a virtual server of a particular type.

  •     Automatic Scaling of Infrastructure:

It is about AWS Autoscaling in conjunction with Load Balancing, the automatic scaling of the AWS server, and the efficient load distribution.

  •     Speeding Up Content Delivery:

Content Delivery Network (CDN) allows speeding up content delivery from a web server to the end-user.

  •     Unlimited AWS Cloud Storage:

AWS S3 is cloud-based file object storage (in addition to block storage). It allows any number of files stored on the Amazon disk space.

  •     Docker Image Storage:

Docker is open-source software, the principal of which is most comfortable to compare with shipping containers.

  •     Hosting for Gaming Server:

AWS web server offers resource owners generous support with a potent tool named AWS Gameloft.

  •     Accessing data from across the world:

Provide secure access to information from anywhere globally and to protect data from unauthorized use, Amazon has an OpenVPN program that cooperates well with AWS EC2.

Amazon Web Services offers the customers multi-facet services which could fulfil their requirement. Most importantly, the customers can overcome their tedious task of building extensive infrastructure for the same purpose by opting for AWS.
